The longitudinal ribs provide additional air circulation in the shoe. The leg, foot and toe areas are padded, which protects the foot and also contributes to the wearer's comfort. The elastic in the instep area helps to ensure that the sock is a good fit and provides additional support. The new high-tech Profilen® fibre in the toe, heel and ankle areas is extremely resistant and provides additional protection against blisters. The hand-linked flat seam helps to reduce pressure points in the toe area.

The socks material is 31% polyester (Thermolite®), 26% polyacryl, 23% wool, 10% Lenzing Profilen®, 7% polypropylene, 2% polyamide and 1% Lycra®.
