The company, with its headquarters in Balgach is a renowned Swiss company that has specialized for more than 50 years in the manufacture of functional socks for sports, leisure and everyday use. The manufacture of socks began in 1933 with the purchase of socks and stockings maker machines. The purchase of newer and better machines ensured that ROHNER socks gradually developed into a synonym for quality and an increasing number of Swiss "picked up their ROHNER socks". The socks factory can thus today justifiably claim to be a Swiss market leader. In addition, since the purchase of the Seance and Flexy brands in 2001, the Jacob ROHNER AG has also become active in the area of fine stockings and pantyhose.
